History of Harihar Fort

The fort was built between the 9th and 14th centuries by the Yadava Dynasty. This Maharashtra fort was crucial in restricting trade routes from passing via the Gonda Ghat. Harihar Killa had been attacked and captured by different invaders since its establishment until it was taken over by the British Army.
