The Famous Legend(Katha or Story) of Bhadra Maruti Temple:

Many years ago there was a city called Bhadravati here. Bhadrasen was the king of this city and the great devotee of Lord Rama. He used to worship Rama near Bhadrakunda here regularly, he used to chant bhajans. One day Hanuman was walking from here he heard the voice of Bhadrasena who was engrossed in the bhajan and his applause started.

Hanuman became absorbed in sleep and began to listen to hymns. As soon as the hymn was over, Hanumanji woke up. Hanuman asked the king, what do you want? Bhadrasen requests Hanuman to live in this place. Hanumanji agreed and disappeared after giving blessings. It is said that this stone with his seal was made at that time. This idol of Maroti in the sleeping posture is worth seeing. There is a reputation in the area that Maruti fills our wishes.
